i looked this watch up and noticed it's face is similar to the MRG8100. how does it compare features-wise? i really like the MRG8100, but IDK about spending 2K on a watch!

features are the same but the MRG has in additional:

- Tough Movement (auto hand home position correction)

- sapphire glass

- massive titanium case and band with DLC processing

- no resin

- maybe more selected dial and hands

- less thickness (13.1mm instead of 15.8mm)

- lighter (111g instead 137g)

the MRG is missing:

tachymeter ;-)

The Amazon deal from "Watchgems" (
http://www.amazon.com/Casio-G-Shock-Aviation-Chronograph-GW2000BD-1ACR/dp/B001QFYEIW/ref=sr_1_17?ie=UTF8&s=watches&qid=1239122280&sr=1-17) is indeed sold by Kenmar Watches.

I placed an order through Amazon at the $221.26 price and received a ship notification directly from Kenmar Watches, even though Amazon lists the seller as "Watchgems."

Some further digging leads me to beleive that "Watchgems" is nothing more than a front for other suppliers.

Kenmar used to list the watch on their site for $350, but now show it as "Unavailable." (http://www.kenmarwatches.com/casio/GW2000BD-1A/)

.:-s

We'll see what shows up on Friday, the scheduled delivery date from Kenmar.
