I was looking for a dark brown "waterproof" strap for the Alpinist, so it wouldn't be worn out from sweat and rain, yet would keep the watch's character. I was going to get the dark brown Hirsch Mariner, but I saw someone on the forum selling the much lighter, honey brown strap in 20mm for a great price! It wasn't what I originally intended, but I thought I'd take a chance. I think I'm liking it... what do you think?

This watch kicks so much butt... I've gotten over most of my nitpicky little qualms about the hour marker alignment, etc. and just wear mine as much as I can now. I might take a shot at regulating it if I ever get around to buying/building a timing machine. :-!

Thanks for posting those pictures, I didn't think the honey brown would look that good with that watch. Now I'm thinking I should get something like it for mine....

Imho it looks better than the glossy croco type strap...
