Why do people like the non-retro version? It is more expensive and it loses the retro feel, which I think was the primary goal of this watch.

Dunno... I see it as buying a black Delorean...Isn't this such a pointless question? People choose to buy whatever they like, why should that be an issue at all? That's like asking, why do people buy a red car instrad of a black car - just nothing, really. Personal preferences.

Anyone aware of color combinations other than those already mentioned? I see a lot of modded 5610's out there but are there any standard resin options other than black or display options other than 'retro' with its multicolor display or the GW-M5610R-1JF with red/orange lettering?
