Hi.
Can anyone recommend some-one with the skills to re-shape a hair spring on an Omega cal 1041.
The watch just cannot be regulated properly, the outer coil is almost touching the next inner one and
the whole spring looks off centre.

I don't have the skills to do myself.
I'm in the South-East of England.

Many thanks

Any local watchmaker should be able to make the correction. Your best bet is finding a local guild for their member directory will show who is close to you. Hairsprings are something every watchmaker learns to do and it sounds like actually a pretty easy fix just to recenter may fix both issues.

Thanks for the advice chaps.
I will look for someone in the area, failing that I will dig out some old movements and have a practice.

Cheers
