That style dial is correct. There were Hami dials that cropped the 5 and 7 and others that did not. Over on the NAWCC.org web page in the American pocket watch section there are threads on Hamilton dials.

Can't see anything wrong with the dial. Year of make (serial number 2385784) is closer to 1935 than 1930, but that's a minor thing. Don't get confused by 'railroad'. It is a railroad watch by it's looks and design, but often this misleads to thinking it is a railroad grade watch (a term attesting higher precision).

The dial is 100% okay and looks to be in good shape.

I have concerns about the case-it shows extra case screw marks which makes me think it previously contained a 992B.

Also, I'm not sure if 992Es ever shipped in a "Cigarette Box". Rhett would know.

The box label would tell all...
