Hamilton Intra-Matic or Jazzmaster Thinline?

I am looking for a thin dress watch. I am currently looking at the Intra-Matic (42mm; tried 38mm, but it was too small for my 8+ inch wrist) and the 40mm Jazzmaster Thinline. I think both these watches are very thin at 10mm and a surprising 8.4mm respectively.

I like the rounded dial and heavily domed sapphire of the Intra-Matic but dislike the stick hands. I like the dauphine style hands on the Jazzmaster and applied indices more.

Which do you prefer?

Is it the photo or does the Thinline have a more off-white or slightly champagne dial?

Because if so, I would pick that one. White, especially matte dials, are extremely boring to me, barring few exceptions. And the champagne looks more upper-scale if you care about that.

I do like both. I like the intra matic's domed glass (Jazzmaster is domed, but only slightly), curved dial, and it's thicker lugs. I like the Jazzmaster's champagne dial, applied indices, and dauphine hands. The crown is also very small and difficult to manipulate.

I prefer the Thinline in every way, more reasonable case size, thinner, nicer hands, and applied markers.

If you like the Intramatic, have a look at the Christopher Ward C5 Malvern 595.

I'm a little biased because I own an Intra-matic. My wrist is smaller than yours...this is the 38mm. It looks fantastically better in person than stock photos. It's a delight to wear and the printed indices allow the dial itself to flash wonderfully in the light. The hands are blued and a great contrast. It is thin and its angled case makes it wear very well.
