That sounds right although I haven't measured it. I thought the stock leather strap was too stiff so I wear it with a Horween leather strap. It's a fantastic watch!!!

 

Where did you get your strap? I was looking at getting a Chromexcel from Catalyst Leatherworks and was trying to figure out which size I need.

 

I would not take a standardized watch strap length for granted when it comes to Hamilton's straps. Your best bet would be to phone the Swatch Group Service Center with respect to your question.

Here are the specs on Hamilton's website of the strap that comes with the H70455533. Hamilton's reference for the strap is H6007041041. That may help in your search.

 

Unfortunately, it does not provide the length of the strap. What I have found with Hamilton when they put their OEM straps on their watches is that with a smaller diameter watch such as 38mm, the straps measurements are 115mm/75mm. Whereas with a larger diameter watch such as 40mm or 42mm, the straps could be 120mm/80mm.

I guess Hamilton figures that people who buy a 38mm watch must have a smaller wrist and therefore do not require a larger strap. Whereas, those who buy a larger diameter Hamilton watch require a larger strap and therefore equip their watches with a larger strap.
