I just picked one up used from another forum member. I wore for a little bit this weekend (while in the privacy of my home). Here is my initial reaction.

It is too big for my <7" wrist. The lume is non-existent. Believe it or not, there is ***NO*** lume at all on the hands. Huh? The movement and rotor are loud. Additionally, it has a really bad [fake] miyota stutter. I can even hear it stutter if the room is quiet. Did I mention that it is ridiculously big? I worry about winding it manually. In the past, I've seen warnings (incl. pics) on WUS about how manually winding cheap Chinese autos can result in their demise. I worry about its water resistance. I worry about how long this watch will last. I certainly don't expect this one to be a line item in my grandchild's will.

I like it! I promptly put on a tight fitting, black harley t-shirt and fired up a man movie. Stallone I think it was. I think the recent price reductions from Helenarou should be awfully tempting.

Here are some action shots for you. For reference, I just measured my wrist and it looks like I am 7 1/16".

* Note that the crown is unscrewed in these shots because I've been manually winding it so far (oops).

The measurements:

46 - w/o crown
50 - w/ crown
56 - lug-2-lug
11 - height
24 - lugs (narrowing to ...)
19 - buckle
133 grams

For me, this one is passable, but pretty borderline. With some postures it looks okay, but all too often it has the "I'm compensating" look.

Wait till you see my next watch. I think it should be arriving today (or tomorrow). Now, *this* one is going to be big!!! Stay tuned.

lol i hear you on the cheap movement. I broke it trying to adjust the stutter out (forgot to release the mainspring and the movement exploded when I removed the top plate. Never found the mainspring click.) I replaced it with a $15 Miyota clone from ofrei and it runs fine now :D

Does your crown screw down? Mine doesn't, which is just fine by me because I like to give it a little hand-crank every now and then.

The lumeless hands are dumb, too, and it does almost look too big on a 7.5" wrist, but I like it nonetheless.

The main reason I bought mine was because I really want a BR-01-94 (instrument chronograph. Preferably limited-edition orange markers on pvd case) but before I drop out of school and put my college money into a watch, I wanted to make sure I'd actually want to wear a 46mm square watch. Good thing I like it. Now I'm off to the registrar to drop all my classes and withdraw my enrollment.

j/k :D I'll go ahead and finish my BA, I guess.

Yes, it does screw down. It is confusing, however. The thing is winding the whole time it is screwing down. Maybe you just haven't turned it enough while depressing it???
