Hey folks...looking to add a GMT to my collection...I'd like to be around $1,000. Have my eye on the new Christopher Ward Trident but want to hear y'all's thoughts before I pull the trigger?

I would go elsewhere than CW - as far as I'm concerned CW's reputation is they couldn't design an original watch if it fell on their head.

You can pick those up new for $300-$500 if you shop around. Try Creation Watches for a start.

The CW is nice, but for the sake of options I'll suggest the Longines Conquest GMT.

I got my Tag Heuer Twin Time used for under $1k. I'm quite happy with it.

True, but I think the OP said "around" $1k. If I were the OP and had an interest in this one, I'd probably call Topper Jewelers (sponsor) and mention this forum. It might be worth considering...
