hey guys i need to buy a watch for my wife with a budget of 500-1000 dollars........something classy.........................do put in ur generous ideas......thanks

I second the suggestion of posting in the ladies forum. Also, need more info:

Size?
Shape?
Movement?
Crystals?
Bracelet/case material?
Color?

In general Tissot has a lot of nice looking affordable ladies models.

On the off chance you haven't considered these already.... Longines PrimaLuna and Baume & Mercier Linea are really nice looking collections.

I'm in the same boat, with a bit higher of a budget. I've been looking at Raymond Weil, particularly their Noemia and Jasmine lines. The Jasmine line is a take-off from Cartier's Ballon Bleu. AAlso check out the Parsfial line. Very dressy and classy watches.
