Hey,

I have been collecting Russian watches for a little while now and over that time have accumulated among many other things, two Vostok Kommandirskie Tankists with the 3aka3 mo CCCP inscription. One I dropped and it broke, the other has a very low quality dial, hand lume is almost all gone and rust is everywhere. These are my favorite watches in my collection, and I hope to replace them with one definitive example. I would like to find a Tankist with the 3aka3 mo CCCP in box with papers. Anyone who has any tips on finding such a watch, the likelihood or where to look, i would greatly appreciate. If this post isn't allowed, feel free to tell me.

Hello. I wish I can help with the specific directions where to buy such a watch but given there is no store that has them in stock you need to keep searching places like ebay...

These do come up on ebay quite often, but rarely with box and papers and even more rare are the correct papers.

Also, watches marked with ЗАКАЗ МО СССР were sold in military stores, did they come with a box?

That's a good question, though i suspect they must have a box

Boxes for these were the same as any other late Soviet Komandirskie - plastic with a lid...
