Help for newby

Having been looking for a while I have just acquired a pre-owned Chronomat Auto Chrono 81950A. It is from the mid 80's I believe BUT I have two issues that I would welcome some guidance on please.

First the strap is not long enough for my wrist so will need an extra long leather strap - guidance appreciated.

The most important point is that the watch comes with no instructions! now I can figure out the basics but am really struggling to fully understand - so again any help very much appreciated.

Thank you

Morning HSO and welcome.

You can but an extra long strap from an AD (no Breitling straps are cheap but I would advise against buying off the bay - fakes aplenty)

Instructions wise try (and you may well have done this) googling for "Breitling Chronomat PDF" either that or there is a chance that a forum member may well scan theirs in for you. I also believe that you can ask Breitling for a replacement set of instructions.

Let us know how you get on and lets see some pics of that Chronomat!

Best

Al
