This is my dad's Accutron that my mom bought him in 1967 for graduating Navigator School. She bought it at the BX at Travis AFB in California. I'm going to have it checked out and replace the flex band with a leather band. I'm going to give it back to my dad as a present. So, while it may not be worth much, I'm going to spend whatever it takes to get it fixed. Is accutrons.com a good place to send it?

The back edge says clockwise from 12 o'clock to 2, 6, 10: BULOVA, PATENTED, 14KT. GOLD CASE, WATERPROOF. It has a serial number and below it looks like M5.

Thanks in advance!

I've bought batteries from OFT. Good outfit to have your 1965 Accutron 218 looked at. 1965 was the first year for the 218 model. Looks in pretty good shape, and movement parts are available within the Accutron repair community.
