Hello all,

I am hoping to be able to date and identify my Seikosha watch.
The 'Seiko' brand first appeared in 1924. As the dial looks original, your watch can't be earlier than that. But it might not be much younger either. I know very little about Seiko, but this looks very similar to 'Laurel' branded watches that were made prior to 1924. On the other hand, this style may have remained in use in Japan right through until the war for all I know. I don't recall ever seeing Art Deco style watches from Japan, so the European styling trends might not have reached Japan.

Thanks for the help gents. So it appears to be 1920's. I will need to get it serviced as its rather stop/start at the moment. Thanks and happy watch wearing!
