I was wondering if anyone happened to know the model of this Buren ?
The typeface for the numbers has me interested in finding out more about it and what others may have a similar typeface.

Are you looking to find out the movement caliber? That style watch was very common in the 1950s so I would say it probably has something like an AS 1187 movement. If you are looking for the model name of the watch, I doubt it had one.

I guess the date will have to do as I'm just wondering what time period that typeface was used. In older pieces, the gaps inside the 6 and 9 are closed.

The movement inside will suggest a manufacturing date, but you'd need to be able to open the watch back in order to see it, etc. I would say it's mid-late Fifties to look at it, myself.
