I am new to this forum and am just getting into the world of watches, and was hoping someone could give me some info on this old watch I acquired many years ago from my great uncle that passed away. The face says "oyster chester " and I took the back of the case off and it says "Tudor". I have found similar looking watches, but none with the same color dial that include the military time. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The Tudors signed "Oyster (something)" without the Tudor name on the dial were, IIRC, mostly made in the 1930s-early 1940s. This one is equipped with an FHF 30 aka Rolex/Tudor 59. There was a fair bit of various models signed Oyster only- Oyster Centregraph, Oyster Raleigh, Oyster Pioneer... I've heard they were mostly sold in Canada, and other countries of the Commonwealth (and what back then was the British Empire). Mostly they had the cases signed Oyster Watch Co.
