I am interested in a couple of watches that I found online but don't know what to expect in terms of reputable dealers and shipping and customs/duty when buying a watch from Singapore and having it delivered to the US.

The site certainly looks legit though I've not used them.
I'd e-mail them first re: the specific watch you decide on.
Always nice to see if they reply promptly.
We've got LOTS of Seiko fans here and they may know of sites they've dealt with that they trust with similar or better prices.

I have bought 2 from Skywatches, a Seiko black "bullet" and a Seiko 100m PVD (SNZD73J - Japan model), both experiences were positive. Shipping to the States was super fast too and I had no customs issues.

Have a look at eBay seller Pokemonyu. Apparently, he has many satisfied customers.

Yes I was going to mention him, but MMT beat me to it. Shipping was reasonably fast and no customs issues.

i have a buddy in US that buys me watches from asia.. and then ships to me... he bought from superchrono... the first time one watch.. the second time 2 watches... no custom fees
