I'm looking for a reasonable priced (around 100-200$) skeleton hand wind watch, I'm into classic stuff like that and I find all types of nice looking watches, but several complaints about them and I stumbled across this forum as a result. What brands are good with skeleton watches? I noted "Stuhrling" on the O.com site and found one I really like, but am curious about their quality. I do not want a watch that will simply give out in a month or so.

Thanks for the input.

There are certainly plenty of people who have had good experiences with Stuhrling watches, but there are a few around who've had problems. I'd think you would be fine if you bought from a seller that you could return it to if you had issues.

For a higher level of quality assurance, and materials, you could take a look at Sea-Gull. This one is a little over your budget, but they will give you a WUS discount if you ask for it.

Orient does a few partial skeletons, and their quality is second-to-none.
