Received from my dad many years ago. It was his first ever watch, purchased after he joined the Detroit police dept in '68. Im just curious if anyone knows the model name or anything about it. It still runs great
It could be a Hamilton Talbot from the 1960s. Below is a link to a 1961 Talbot, even though the dial is waffle in its texture, you may find it informative.
BTW, in Dan's restoration blog, he always mentions if the metal strip is not original to the watch, to replace it with a leather strap as the ends of the metal strap can cause additonal wear on the lugs.
