So I got this great vintage Omega from my dad, who had it languishing in a drawer thinking it was a “crap” brand. Now liberated from its captivity, I’m trying to learn as much as I can about this gorgeous piece.

What I know: Omega Megaquartz 32 (cal. 1310)

What I think I know: the watch was purchased and engraved in 1978...but I think it’s a 1973 model.

Does anyone happen to know the reference number? Or anything else notable about this model...other than it claims accuracy to 5 seconds A MONTH?!

The case number will be stamped inside the caseback, and you can date the year of production from the serial number on the movement.
Can’t believe I missed that...of course they’re so small I can’t believe I found a mag strong enough in my house to read them.

Thanks for answering the newb question.
