Well firstly happy new year to you all, i need a little advice for a freind, whose new year wasnt that great after he returned to his car only to find it broken into, and his watch that he bought in the sales, was on his wrist but the box and papers were gone.

Therefore, Eric has asked if he can get replacements, of his papers and warrenty cards etc, the AD stated he would ask on his behalf but as yet no joy.

Bummer to hear about your friend's misfortune!

When I bought my pre-owned SMP Chrono a few weeks back, the box and papers had been water damaged. I inquired with the serial number, and Omega sent me, without even requring proof of anything, a new box and card wallet.

I'm not sure it will be so easy to replace the warranty card, but I would imagine that the AD would be able to provide enough of a paper trail so that any warranty claims could be handled without too much trouble.
