I was cleaning up around the house and found this "vintage"? pocket watch. I tried to look it up as best as I could but because the name on the face plate was "radio" I got a mix bunch of searches (mostly radio's) Can anyone help me with this one, such as manufacture? year? actual model or model number? etc...

I would guess 20's or early 30's for the dating... based on the style and being 15 jewels.

Clearly a Swiss movement imported and encased with an American Watch Case Company case made in Canada... I would guess for the Canadian market but that is just a guess. (Ah, I looked up your IP... looks like a good guess :))

I'd agree with the date and these were very much US/Canada case and dials, and the name on the dial was often that of the importer. I don't recognise the movement but I've seen that click design before...

Might not be the same, but "Radio" was a registered trademark of "Benson and Hedges" of Montreal back in 1922, which is a good fit for the probable date of this watch.

Not a penny more than what someone will pay for it... i.e. probably not much.

eBay is your best guide.

ALways hard to say, but I doubt this watch was worth much even when it was new. The click design is not very robust, and overall style and finish are fairly simple and inexpensive (while trying to look nice). Definitely worth more then a dollar watch, but probably would have retailed in the $5 range (assuming it wasn't a promotional item in the first place).
