i have this old walthan i opened case has numbers 7858862 nickle its a cushion case but the funny thing is it sits sideways at the crown is the 12 and sub sec at 9 anybody have any info on this i cant seem to find a thing thanks bobby
Either that is the case serial number or an INcorrect movement number as 7,858,862 dates to 1896 = No way
It is using what we call a 'Lepine' movement (Open face pocket watch movement) in a wristwatch case, putting crown and '12' at 12 and sub seconds at '6'.
Usually we see the crown and '12' at '3' oclock.
