Hi everyone,

I know absolutely nothing about watches, but I'm trying to find a vintage Breitling as a special 30th birthday present for my fiancee. I located this dealer from Hodinkee; however, I'm concerned it's a fake. The identical watch with the identical reference number also shows up on three other sites (finer times, classic watch, and elite wristwatch).

If you could help, I would greatly appreciate it! My understanding is that a stainless steel Breitling Premier goes for around $1,500-$2,500, so this watch is within the range. It doesn't appear to be in excellent condition though with the dial having faded and missing numbers.

Don't trust it or go for it?

Thank you!

Hi clueless,
as you did not get an answer from an expert till now - neither I am one, but normally someone would answer quicker than you already are waiting -
I would suggest, you ask directely in the Breitling forum. I am sure you will get your answer there...
