Hi. I am new to the world of Omega and need your help identifying this recent purchase. All I know is that it is from the sixties, and a De Ville. Says Swiss Made on the inside. It's a wind up and it works. The lock on the band says "FINESSE USA I/20 10 KT G.F." Can anyone tell me anything else about this watch please, thanks a lot.

Sorry, not much help

Welcome to Omegaland and congrats on your recent acquisition! I have to admit that I'm not very knowledgable when it comes to ladies models (there's a joke in there somewhere), but it appears to be a nice, clean, simple DeVille. Based on the dial markings, I'm guessing it's a bit newer than the 60's, though. I'd place it in the late 70's, maybe early 80's.

The best way to date it precisely is to have it opened and note the reference number on the inside of the caseback, as well as the number on the movement.

Sorry that I can't be more helpful, but I hope you enjoy it!
