Hello guys,
I had a nice offer for this Cartier Tank (one of my grail watches since I saw picture of Muhammad Ali rocking one

The pictures are crappy, i'm sorry, but could you give me your opinion on it. I've read here that Cartier made some questionable quality pieces in the 70s. Could it be one of those?
Also what do you think about the movement? It seems a bit different than the ETA used by Cartier?

I doubt that anyone could judge whether it's legit based on those photos. However, they are good enough to suggest that it's a cheap piece in poor condition, so authenticity would be a moot point for me.

If a Cartier tank is your grail, I don't think you will be satisfied with this one, authentic or not.

A lot of these (I'm guessing Vermeil?) if authentic are usually sterling silver with gold plating. Probably a lot of them out there to choose from that are in better condition. Jewel on the crown is missing too.
