Help with Slava Medical Watch

I am on a hunt for a NOS Slava Medical Watch. Where can I buy one of these? I've seen posts from 2009 saying they are rare. Are there still any in NOS condition? Money is not a problem.

Hey, i don't know much about Slava Medical but found something like this while browsing.

USSR watch Slava medical sport pulse new russian soviet wristwatch raketa | eBay
They are quite hard to find, and will require months of tireless searching. I believe you would stand the biggest chance monitoring the Italian e-bay. There are quartz versions that pop up every now and then, but the mechanical version is much less frequent.

Mine says hello (not for sale):

Good luck!

Thank you so much for the tip. My grandfather was actually issued one of these back in the day. I remember him wearing it when I was very young. He passed away and I have no idea where it went. I've been trying to find this watch for so long. Does anyone else have tips on finding one?
An obvious tip for the normal collector is be patient and check the various ebays daily if possible. I would say two or three of these a year show up on US ebay in my experience. Another strategy is to contact the best known ebay sellers and let them know you are interested although most of them know to be on the lookout for that watch. No substitute for luck and/or putting in the time looking and checking.
Here is another version. I found this on USA ebay March 2012, 1 bid, $9.00.

$9 ?
That was a steal!
I believe that version is even more rare than the one Lucidor posted.
..monitoring the Italian e-bay
Oh dear - another happy hunting ground! Thanks for the tip :)

Fascinating how different the national eBays are for selection and price

Sorry, I went back to my records the actual price was $9.99 USD and $3 shipping. It has a cracked crystal but the movement keeps excellent time and the dial and case are very clean.

Here is my latest NOS find for $11.49, Russian POLJOT Mechanical Watch w Calendar New Old Stock But Needs Servicing | eBay

I spent 2 hours for the service and have balance amplitudes over 300 degrees.
In both cases,... I believe you were just paying for the straps, and the watch was included as a free gift!

Amazing bargains!

Do you think the Slava Medical was made for the Italian market - as the Pink Slava and the California dial are rumored to be?
I've got one of each version in my collection and in both cases I obtained them from an Italian seller.
But that's hardly proof for your theory...

I bought my Slava medical from an Italian seller too.

I wonder if anybody has one that they didn't get from an Italian source - first transaction.

Also - what is the full set of "Italian Slavas" - the 3 I referenced or others too.

All 3 have the CCCP caseback - is that a clue?

Just curious.

The CCCP is Russian for USSR. Anyways, I just bought one off an Italian merchant 2 days ago. Someone private messaged me and pointed me to the right direction. Thank you all for your help!!

Was that my PM? Glad it worked, in that case...
Well I finally got my Slava medical. Paid 160 for it from a merchant on the Italian eBay. It's fitted with a metal strap right now. There is a nos for sale on the U.S. eBay right now if anyone is interested. I think at the time I'm writing this, the bidding is at 240 USD with 24 USD shipping fee. This watch is going up in value fast.
