Why does the Botta UNO looks like the watchpeople UNO ?

Because it's supposed to?

"Klaus Botta developed the concept for the UNO single-hand watch back in 1985, and the first single-hand watch was launched in 1994 by the Watchpeople brand. Since 2000, Klaus Botta has sold a redesigned and improved version of the UNO, under his own name. The UNO Automatic is the first time that a mechanical version of this successful concept has been available."

Hi,
The design sure is nice. I got this one designed by Klaus Botta when he was still working for "watchpeople" (which no longer exists - or at least has changed it's name):

One from the back:

It's only 34mm and sits very comfy on the wrist, but the crown really is too small - kind of a torture to wind it, that's why I don't wear it very often. It's powered by an ETA 2801. I've been thinking about having a bigger crown installed, but it would probably ruin the overall appearance.

Greetings, Sedi:)

Wow, those are some nice simple classy watches at a reasonable price. For automatic watches in that price range and style I still prefer Stowa but the quartz versions are very nice for the price.
