Squelettes are generally not my thing, and worse in this case the skeletonized movement is not very exciting (SW300). At least it looks reasonably well done with some finishing. To me, it's an inversion of the Ming smoke dial, which imo works much better because its less distracting.

The most interesting thing for me about the watch is the case design of the Arceau, which has been around for a long time i.e., just stick to the regular dial.

Hermes and Sellita combination almost seems like an oxymoron (no offense to Sellita). This association probably helps Sellita but probably cheapens the Hermes brand. That said, in this coronavirus era maybe it makes business sense.

Hermes has a history of using skeletonized 2892s. Here's the Sesame.

I like the gradual fade in the dial on this Arceau model. Lug design is cool too. Movement finish doesn't look great, especially for the price.
When did Hermes use 2892s?

Hermes has in-house case, dial and movement (Vaucher) making capability.

I presume their ultra thin movement watches are powered by the engine Vaucher intro'd last year.

Not sure when all they used 2892s or in what. But the watch in question here is a skeletonized Sellita SW300, which is the ETA 2892 equivalent. And the Arceau Le Temps Suspendu uses a 2892 as a base. But yeah, other watches use the Vaucher movements.
