Does anyone know if this even exists? I have a Glashütte Original Sixties that came on a very nice alligator strap, but in the summer months I prefer metal. Staib Germany makes some very nice mesh bracelets, but sadly not in 19mm width.

I did find one from Strapcode that I’m using now. The bracelet itself is quite nice, but the clasp looks like something that would have come on a 1980s Casio digital alarm watch rather than a luxury dress watch.

Any suggestions? I don’t mind going to another watch brand like Omega or Tag if they what I need, but has to be actual 19mm, not smaller with spring extensions.

Here is the Strapcode and it’s not-so-nice clasp.

Somewhere I read about someone in the same predicament that ground down the Staib to 19mm. Just looking at photos it doesn’t look like there’s enough extra width to do that but maybe you could ask a Staib dealer if it’s possible.

This isn't particularly high end, but I found this one on Ali-express a few weeks ago and ordered one in 21mm. I had the same concerns as you, but when it arrived, it fit at 21mm as advertised, so I suspect the 19mm option they offer will be equally accurately sized:

Can't complain too much at the sub $13 pricepoint - it is deployant clasp AND quick release spring bars. The clasp and the adjustment bar also actuate and lock up very cleanly and crisply. Mine arrived earlier this week (2 weeks earlier than scheduled, and I'm pretty happy with the build quality and the comfort.

I bought a few 19mm Seiko Mesh bracelets from a eBay seller. These were the stock bracelet for a few 1970's Seikos

Very comfy and works well with a retro looking watch

I actually grinded down a couple of them to work with 18mm watches (seen in the pic)

Also look at watch Gecko. I have one of their mesh bracelets and love it.

Finally look at Bear, Bambi and Lamp 1970's and 1980's bracelets. These are super popular in Japan

Here is a Lamp mesh bracelet. Unlike most mesh bracelets which you have to struggle to put on the wrist, this one has a metal keeper so that it is sort of like a regular clasp bracelet in that you put the watch on the wrist and close the clasp. you put it on and grab the open clasp and pull it around until it becomes as tight as you want it to and then lock the clasp
