If you could go back in time and have a friendly chat with any inventor/innovator throughout the history of watches/pocket watches, who would it be?

For myself, it would be Antoni Patek - at just15 years old, he joined the Polish Mounted Rifles Regiment. Later, he'd go on to create the legacy we know as Patek Phillipe.

What about yourself? 馃檪

YES - A vote for John Harrison of "Longitude" fame. I saw a collection of his nautical timepieces in the Royal Observatory museum in Greenwich a couple of years ago while on holiday in the UK.

No question for me--Abraham-Louis Breguet. Although I'd probably disrupt the space-time continuum and end up causing Breguet to invent the G-Shock.

Not exactly a watch, but I would go to ancient Greece and talk with a genius who made the Antikythera mechanism.
There鈥檚 a Greek micro brand that is inspired by that mechanism and incorporates it into the watch designs. I was really considering getting one but they鈥檒l be too big for me. Very nice design though鈥

Pierre Jaquet-Droz. Though I'd talk not about his watches.
