The Glycine Airman was the first GMT watch, the Rolex GMT-Master is the most iconic GMT watch

What are some other historically and culturally significant GMT watches?

Any more ideas?
Ulysee Nardin Perpetual Calendar GMT +/-

One of the most if not the most complicated GMT watches ever. Special feature for GMT function to work forwards and backwards with push buttons. Also calendar feature works on all months and leap year.

Watchfinder had a video on this very movement recently. It was designed by Ludwig Oechslin, who later founded Ochs and Junior. It’s a seriously impressive bit of engineering and design.

Going back to iconic GMT watches, what about the IWC 3251 TZC? Classic pilot looks and a simple but effective “proper” GMT.

While not technically a true GMT complication; the Accutron Astronaut is an iconic GMT bezel watch.
The fourth hand is often confused as a GMT hand, but it is a 24 Hour hand, and cannot be set independently from the hour hand.
