Hi all, first post here. I thoroughly Googled this but to no avail. I found (in a busy parking lot) what appears to be a Classic model, all stainless, Swiss made, quartz movement, black leather band. Where Victorinox would be is the Hitachi brand and below the center of the face is labeled Andrews Electronics. The Victorinox name does however appear on the back plate. Fwiw, the battery appears dead and the calendar has stopped 5 days ago. Is this a legit watch and why Hitachi? Thanks in advance, Bob.

It's probably a legit watch. Victorinox contracts with companies to make a watch with the name of the company on the dial. I don't know the proper name for this type of watch. Companies give them to employees for service anniversaries, rewards, etc. You can see many examples on eBay.
