Dear WUS,

On the night of the 16th.of September, I returned home to find that my unit ~12kms from Sydney's CBD had been robbed. It appears they entered through any of the two balconies. The home was vacant from 12:30pm to about 8:45pm.
I have had a number of watches and valuables stolen. I kindly ask that you keep an eye out for these watches, some of which are quite unique and dear to me.

Dear All,

This happened some time ago but I thought I might try my luck given the vigilance and amount of people here.

On the night of the 16th of September 2015, I returned home to find that my unit in Kogarah, Sydney had been robbed. It appears they entered through the two balconies on the first floor. The home was vacant from 12:30pm to about 8:45pm.

The watches and valuables were really my only assets and they have been stolen. I kindly ask that you keep an eye out for these watches, some of which are quite unique and sentimental.

1. Tudor Snowflake 9411/0 on brown leather - SN846053
2. Tudor Black Bay Red on brown braided nylon (perlon) - SN J608188
3. Grand Seiko SBGW031 on black gloss croc strap- SN SF-2497832
4. Sinn 356 Flieger Chronograph on distressed brown leather Gunny strap
5. Perpetual C-05 Chronograph on glossy black Orient leather
6. Stowa Airman 40mm on Stowa brown leather riveted strap
7. IWC 3717 Chronograph on brown leather strap
8. Melbourne Watch Company Portsea in blue – head only
9. Rolex Datejust 1601 (Case, dial, ETA movement) – head only, poor condition
10. Orient UT0E003W Rose gold watch on brown leather

Miscellaneous
1. 0.7 carat round brilliant diamond set in rose gold ring with diamond halo
2. Rose gold Omega movement cuff links
3. Lots of other miscellaneous goods but little hope of finding these.

Again, I write this in hope that you may come across any of the items and can contact St George Local Area Command on 02 8566 7499 (whom were hopeless by the way). A bit of background: they also took my wallet and used my card after the robbery for a taxi ride and bus rides, however, unable to trace.

Rewards offered for assistance (to you, not the police).

Regards,
Justin

*No, I didn't have insurance*
*No, I don't think it was an 'inside job'. If it was I would rather not know about it*

Man what a njghtmare! I'm sorry to say that i dont tnink you'll likely see any of them again. However, having the serials should definitely help.
Have you managed to at least rebuild your collection somewhat?
