How Accurate is your Omega METAS watch

My first watch, the creamsicle PO METAS was off by 30 seconds over each of two months I wore it. My current Seamaster Chrono METAS watch is to be only off by 2 seconds by the end of this month. The creamsicle was obviously very accurate but the chrono is running like a quartz watch.

Compare these to my GS 5 day 600m spring drive diver that was not off even a second after 3 months. My Rolex DSSD is consistently off by 40-45 seconds each month.

So what are you getting as the monthly accuracy for your Omega METAS watches?

My smp diver varies from season to season- it can get quite consistently hot where I live. Some months it hardly gains or loses anything when averaged out over the month and other months it can be 25 secs fast. Once it took 5 months to gain one minute. It uses the awesome 8800 movement.

I find the poll metric a bit odd, as the majority on here would measure seconds per day (spd).

I selected 21-30 per month, as mine runs at +0.8 spd.

In any case, I've found the 8800 movement to be incredibly stable, having not deviated much from this rate since buying it around two years ago.

Apparently most WUSers don’t really care that much about watch accuracy or precision. I started a thread recently on how so many sellers here don’t provide info on their watches time keeping and most people responded “so what? It first matter.” Weird.

Mine with the 8800 movement is about +7-9 spd when off the wrist and +1spd when wearing.

No idea per month. I've checked them once or twice over a day just for fun. Seems fine. 1 or 2 seconds on both them, so maybe 30-60 per month?
