The Yema has the Sellita SW200-1 movement.

Oris has no crown guards. You need the Yema. And the Oris.

No. The Oris doesnt have the bezel lock.

i just got the superman heritage. Waiting for it in the mail. Had i not done so, would have gotten the superman 63. I think it looks better. Would have been much better without the date.

No, oris is better. To unlock the bezel on order to use it is, pardon my french, idiotique.

 

The Yema looks notably more "vintage", and it also has that utterly infuriating bezel lock. So, yeah, go for it.

Well, it's entirely up to you which of the three: Yema, Zodiac and Lip, you buy first on the way to complete your set of vintage divers with quirky cardinal numerals.

Forget that Yema, the Oris looks much better balanced design wise, especially with the date at 6. That minute hand on the Yema is just wrong IMO.

 

I love Yema's designs but in this case, I have to agree with rcorreale; the date window and other subtle 'modernizations' on the Oris make it a far nice looking watch.

 

No, the Oris is enough. Save your money for something better.

If you like a style, you like a style. That does not mean you should only have one of that style. They are both worthy of wearing on different days..... or even the same day.

 

I really like the Oris. Mine came on the tropical which is super comfortable however I bought the bracelet and like the watch even more. This particular Yema doesn't do anything for me but if it does for you, go for it.

 

I think, to the discerning eye, they are different enough to have both of them if you are in that position. Can you ever have too many?
