I have this damaged junghans trilastic 17 jewels from 1960-69 i want to work on.
The crown is missing and i want to get the movement out of the case.
Since the crown is gone and i cant find a movement Ring im wondering if its going out from the front.
There are also those little metal sticks on the side which are maybe preventing it from leaving the case .
Help would really be apreciated

Those three little rods are centering devices with spring loaded balls. Perhaps not just for centering in the movement in the case but also as crude shock protection. There appears to be a bit of verdigris around them, so perhaps the springs are jammed up a bit. There are no movement clamps present as the previous poster suggested.

I think the movement comes out the back and is just kind of bound in place at the moment

Since there is no crown/stem in place and no clamps see if you can shift or rotate the movement at all. Try placing a tool against the side of the plate where a casing clamp would usually be positioned as shown circled below and gently pry sideways against it. I'm betting is will shift. Then you can try gently lifting the movement out. I'm pretty certain you can see the perimeter of the dial which suggested everything comes out the back.

I would not use too much force or pressure. If it still resists coming out, then take it to a good local pro otherwise you might create more problems than you solve.

Good luck either way.
