How you wind an Oris F1 Day Date? Do you pull out the winder? Do you wind it in place? It feels tight. Is that they way its supposed to feel when winding? Do you wind it back-and-forth like a spring watch? Any help for this Oris Newbie would be much appreciated!

Unscrew the crown and wind it like any watch. My Artix GT is rather tough to wind also, no worries.

My F1 Day/Date does not have a screw down crown, so I just wind the crown as it is normally. You should only pull the crown out to adjust the time or day/date. You can wind back forth as the movement is designed to handle that.

I'm pretty sure that the Day Date does not have a screw down crown so it will just be a case of winding the watch as Chris has said. While the watch is designed to wind up some people think that the winding mechanism on automatics is a weak spot and treat it as such to avoid any potential problems.
