Hi all,

Basic question really-I want to change the band on my g2300-9v from the default rubber to the g-shock nylon from another watch. I unscrewed the four 'side' screws and tried to lift the bezel, but it didn't seem to want to come off, and I don't want to break it! Do I need to take off the back-plate to change the band? (As you may have guessed, I am a newbie)

Anyone know how to remove the band? Any help would be great, thanks!

You only need to remove the springbars to change the strap. If you don't have a springbar tool, a small-bladed knife should allow you to compress the springbar so that it pops out.

Mark, could you do me a favour please and post a pic when you've finished? I have two G2300's with origional cloth straps (and a resin strap as a spare), and have been thinking about other strap options. Cheers. :)
