I'd add a Grand Seiko (hi beat or spring drive) and a Zenith Chronomaster Sport.

+1 for the GS. Maybe a Breitling, or a nice GO?

I’d give it a chronograph of some sort.

I'd add a chronograph and GMT. There're the Omega Speedmaster and Longines Spirit Zulu to keep it within the Swatch family 😉

Id go chronograph as well. A Navitimer, Zenith chronomaster, IWC pilot chrono etc.

You are going to get the same stock suggestions to make your luxury starter set watch box that will look like everyone else’s. Get unique, get creative, go outside the box. But most importantly, don’t fill a watch box to fill a watch box. Don’t buy a watch to go with the others. Buy a watch when you find a must have piece that’s only important to you, even if it takes years for the next piece.

IWC Mark XX would help diversify the collection.

you’re absolutely right about not filling a watchbox for the sake of it. I appreciate it!

a GO is a great idea! Maybe the green dial 🤔

Just be aware, that by all reports the further you go up the Swatch hierarchy, the more annoying service gets.

Yeah, I’m liking zenith and IWC , those have been good suggestions. I do like the Portugueser, and the 36mm defy

so I hear. I hope Breguet isn’t a b*tch to service but if it is, that’ll be their loss.
something with more "complicated" movement , at least some Breitling chronograph

Personally, I'd go for a Grand Seiko Mistflake - the white dial would fit nicely. Also a green GO PanoMaticLunar for the "complicated" option.

Looks complete to me (as long as you have a watch somewhere for the gym, hitting a speed bag, operating vibrating power tools, and to make sand castles with)
