What would you do?

Please, nice replies only, it was a Xmas present.

Do you have kids? I would let them draw stuff on it and then wear it around from time to time for fun.

I know my 5 year old would think it's pretty neat if I let him "design" my watch.

Draw a PP logo on it, and sell it for 14k on ebay as a one of a kind vintage paper Calatrava.

If you had a local artist in the area whose work you like, maybe commission them to create a mini-masterpiece. Might be a great way to change a fun little gift into something that turns into an honest-to-goodness, one-of-a-kind keeper.

Alternatively, if you or your kids are into this sort of thing, this would be an interesting medium for autographs - particularly time/watch related ones..."Hey Mr. Daniels/Mr. Craig/Mr. Murphy/Mr. Genta, would you please sign my watch?" I know only a couple of those guys are still alive, and your kids probably wouldn't want Roland Murphy's autograph, but that the gist of the idea anyway.
