better late than never. Picked up my first Omega Seamaster and I am extremely pleased with it. I struggled between it and a Schumacher with the white dial. The blue sold me. I also looked at Panerai but it just didn't get my attention.

I see Panerais on all the young entertainment exec wannabees here in L.A.
Sorry to say, but this alone has kept me away from them.

Certain styles of people in Vancouver have taking a liking to certain brands (which I do not doubt are of good quality) that I now stay away from as I don't wish to be associated with them in any way.

Also, congrats! This thread is useless without pictures.

Welcome - Always good to have an Omega (or two, three, etc.) in one's collection. Nice choice for your first one.
