I like them so much I wish I had one right now. I've got something that looks like it might be a Swiss Military "Explorer" clone though.

Nice collection of explorers, Bob. But you're over your quota with 2 Rolex Explorers. You have to learn to share. :-d

I have never considered myself a fan of "explorer" watches as a category. With that said the Rolex EXP II white is one of my all time favorites.

I like the style not the price.Timex's have great style and cost significantly less.

I like to eat, have a roof over my head, take vacations, send my kid to college, occasionally wear clothing:-d..................I have diversified my collection of "explorers" to include those of a more, dare I say "democratic" price point! There are lot of well priced I & II looks out there in the watchworld!:-! BTW what's the Timex??? I'm always looking to add to the collection.
As an asides...I like this site, W.U.S., lot of fun, educational, most fun I have with my clothes on:-d

I love the look of the Explorer, especially the earlier Explorer 1's. My favorite Rolex to be sure. Then I read a review of one (you can google rolex explorer review) and it completely ruined my enthusiasm for them. I still think they're beautiful, but i won't own one now. Went with IWC and never looked back.

They sure look beautiful though!

I am pretty sure that review has been widely discredited by many folks. There has been much discussion on the subject on various watch forums.

Seriously, I'd love to read rebuttals of that review or read other reviews if you can post some links. Thanks.
