there are times when ebay listings are so egregious, so heinous, so lacking in anything that resembles that which is good and true that they must be dragged out into the light of day where their fiendish horror will melt in the sunlight.

i do this to save that one who goes innocently into temptation but ignorantly. the one who sees a pretty face but knows not the putrescence that lay beneath.

if you are at all interested in eternas, or specifically centenaires, then please regard the following:



this monstrocity must not go un-challenged. it's sad because the dial may be original. black dialed centenaires are a lovely thing to behold. but the demented 5-year old who glued that bezel on to this watch should be jailed in a facility for deranged youth. fortunately, the seller is asking such a preposterous amount that no sane person would bid on it. but just in case, don't.

It's not just the angle of the photo, combined with the distortion caused by the domed crystal? I don't know anything about these watches, but it seems like this could just be a really terrible photo. Or are you talking about something other than how the bezel appears overlarge and off center?
