This watch was given to me by my Gran and apparently was my great-grandmother’s before that. It doesn’t have a serial number on the back but has something stamped into the side that could once have been a serial number around four digits but is now too worn to make out. Both sides of the strap are stamped with a number that could be “9 375“ or something similar, and may match the one on the side as they appear to be of similar lengths. It’s hand-wound and the clasp is labelled ”JAM”. I don’t have the box. Thanks in advance!

Hello,

As others have said this is a 9 carat gold Helvetia watch. It dates from the 1950s I would say from the style. I've attached an advert from the 1950s with a somewhat similar style.
