Does anyone know the origin of the word Incabloc as used on Doxa watches? Was it just a model or did it refer to some type of watch with a particular appearance or something?

Hey Steve,

Incabloc is not a style or type of watch, it refers to shock protection. They look like a small "C" clamp and absorb shock if the watch is banged or jarred. This keeps the movement from being damaged.

Just a quick definition.

Thanks Wayne and SurferD! Now I know! I just received a NOS Doxa from around the 1960' or 70's that is gold with white stones (diamonds?) at 12, 3, 6 and 9 on a black face. It's in perfect condition and all it says on its face is Doxa up top and Incabloc down below.
