Have you looked through Dr. Ranfft's archive for a match on the movement? That's where I would start.

This looks pre-WWII to me.

I believe (but don't quote me) that the "kilometer" markings became common as a result of widespread use of motor cars, and that chronographs like this were often used by rally teams.

It may have been used for this purpose, but is not sure.It would be interesting if watches could tell us their entire history.What horrors have taken part in military watches?Passed through the hands pocket watches?What we learn from some ladies watches?????I'm a little off-topic, but it's nice to dream and do not cost anything.All the best!
