I found this out at another forum GS stands for general service and TP stand for trade pattern for equepment purchased off the self than being made for military specification they were bought in large number's from 1939 to 1945 in many brands CYMA,ROLEX,DAMAS,HELVETIA and they also bought some USA brands they did not say what the maker's for the one's from the USA the swiss made one's were all 15 jewel and the USA one's were 9 to 7 jewel my guess would be waltham and elgin.
