I enjoyed this, and I was very shocked to hear that Mr. Schauer handles the bronze case manufacturing process himself.

Looking forward to seeing what this new case material is.

My guess is maybe Tantalum or some carbon composite? Those seem to be what brands are experimenting with these days.

Sapphire would be cool, but I'm not sure if that would fit within the design realm of Stowa.

as his roots and professional education is goldsmith: i am thinking about Platin / Gold.
But on the other hand he is progressiv and it could be ceramic or even composite material based on carbon fibre.

But: he then will need new suppliers for those kind of cases...

Ah yes, ceramic is a likely suspect too!

Yeah the Helson tantalum model is flying off the shelves. I'm not sure the benefit.
