Hello Everyone,

I'm Wilson, founder of MILENEAL (miˈlenēəl) Watches, based out of Malaysia. Pretty sure most of you haven't heard of us so here's a brief introduction!

MILENEAL Watches launched less than two years ago on Kickstarter with the Classic Collection. On hindsight, yes! it's cliche indeed! But it was the one that got us started. The Classic Collection was a minimal looking watch but what we would like to think separates us from the other minimalist watches is our multi-layered dial with a raised dome lens. Thanks to about 250 backers, we were able to bring our brand to life.

After receiving multiple feedback and also working internally on a new collection, we launched our second campaign offering both quartz and automatic versions on our new collection - The Prestige. With the Prestige, our focus was still the same as our initial project which was to create affordable watches with quality specs. We realized the Classic was a bit off the track because of it being available in quartz only. The Prestige, on the contrary, was made available in automatic version as well (powered by a Miyota 9015). And fair enough, the Prestige Automatic was the one that was more popular among customers, mainly because of the specifications it has to offer.

These are the specs..
- Miyota 9015
- 316L Stainless Steel Case
- Sapphire Coated K1 With AR Treatment
- Top Grain Leather Straps
- 5 ATM Water Resistance

We received compliments mostly on our fume dial, the raised dome lens and the movement it uses... But with such small customer base, we believe there's more feedback we could gather and that's what we hope being present on WatchUSeek Forum would bring us.

Having said that, as of now, we are now at a point where we are introducing the Prestige 2.0 version. A newer Prestige with some upgrades and improvements. Yes, of course we wish we could dough out more designs and wider offering of products but being a new small microbrand, I have to say that it's not easy at all working with a small team and budget. So for now, baby steps is all we are taking. We hope to introduce more products in the near future. But for now, let us hear you. We wanna know what you have to say!

Millennials expect every thing for free, plus they would only want a Smart phone, well if some one else paided for it.

Have to add this brand to the list of worst watch brand names hall of fame.

They've now changed the to Montage. Which is definitely in improvement. They also seem to have changed the indices to thinner ones and possibly made the hands a bit longer.

With these changes it makes me wish I'd order one now. But, I've missed the discounted prices, so I probably won't be ordering... If they do a sale or price reduction in the future though I will probably order one.
I'm sure many others on here would probably do the same too... Are there any chances of this happening Wilson???

Those who got one at this price seem to be getting a good deal.

I received an email from Montage watches today, and I quote: "The pre-ordered watches will be delivered with the new branding & new sleek packaging". Can't wait to see the sleek new packaging. Actually, can't wait to see the sleek new watch either. The first pre-orders were meant to be delivered in November, so hopefully it's not too far away.

Thanks, I'd missed that mail. I'm pleased with the change and I think this will draw in more people who may have been put off by the original brand name.

Great to hear that they changed the name. The new one is much better. And the other changes have improved the overall design; they got rid of the automatic text too. The only thing I don't quite understand is that based on the pictures on their site the case back seems to be closed now. Not a major problem though but Miyota 9015 is actually a quite good looking movement in this price range so a display case back would have been nice option.

Thanks for replying to my request for a discount code for us WUS users. It's really appreciated. I've just ordered mine now

After much deliberation, I went with the green and silver one. Although I was very tempted to get the red and silver one. If I hadn't bought so many watches recently, perhaps I would have got both though. As they really do look beautiful.

I've just gotta say how impressed I am with your responses and ultimate decision to the feedback received. It is a good indicator of your character and inspires someone to buy from you with confidence. It had to be very humbling to get such negative feedback on the name that you put so much time and effort into coming up with. I know when I started my business, I did the same thing.

In contrast, there's a person in another forum here on WUS who very recently promoted his new watch design and asked for feedback. Due to his design choices and name, he received much criticism. His responses were not the best and have turned off many from ever buying his product.
